Some good stuff I haven't seen before Master shake. Well done. Do you know if bikes get an extra attack for having an extra ccw like in 4th ed or is it back to 1 ccw only like in 3rd ed.

cover = wrong. I saw the rulebook today, and if something is mostly out of cover, it doesnt get cover.

If 50% of the squad or more is behind cover, the entire squad receives the cover save. If it is a single model, the "body" of the unit must be at least 50% behind cover in order to receive the cover save; "body" being described as arms, torso, head, legs (or something like that). So people will need to rethink putting their models in heroic poses.

but you do have to see the base i.e. no wings, banners, long gun barrels
You sure on that. If we have to see the base those three stone walls on my table have suddenly become a lot more dangerous.

Didn't see any limitations on bikes and multiple CCW's

cover = wrong. I saw the rulebook today, and if something is mostly out of cover, it doesnt get cover.
Check again, the text and accompanying image were pretty clear that only a small portion of the base was required to get a full cover save except for vehicles and monstrous creatures.

You sure on that. If we have to see the base those three stone walls on my table have suddenly become a lot more dangerous.
What I was reffering to was the area of the base i.e. you must be able to see the core body of the model, irroneous parts like gun barrels, banners and wings do not count for seeing the model

Are you sure about the rending changes? Earlier rumors were saying that you rend on the "to wound" roll, rather then the "to hit" roll. But you're saying the only change is D3 instead of D6 bonus on Armor Pen?

    Also, do skimmers block LOS?

Thanks for the reminder, yeah, they did change rending to the to-wound roll. Gonna suck for nids.

As for skimmers and LoS, didn't check that one.

    One other fun little detail-
Feel No Pain- You may only use FNP against UNSAVED wounds (in other words, you need to fail a save for it to apply, what type wasn't specified) and it doesn't work against AP1 or 2 weapons in addition to the current constraints. This'll make Plague Marines wide open for plasma shots.

Looking good.... to be honest all these rules are for the better the 4th edition rule set was getting a little dull with everyone doing rending spams (I am guilty of this), fast skimmers , and min maxing and so on.

Im really looking forward to the new rules edition. I was a little sceptical at first, but I honestly think the game will be more better off. A few of the rules changes are going to suck (S4 defensive weapons, rending downgraded) but we move on and adapt. The new BS rules are cool, but what outside of DE and E have BS higher than 5 to benefit from?

I read on LO somewhere that theyll be releasing a FAQ sort of thing for each army with the new 5th Ed rules, anyone know how much theyll cost and when we can see them?
