The LotD have been spotted in the SM dex.Kudos to Philbrad and Art is Resistance over at Warseer.LoTD - Not much change I could see WS is up by one on their Sgts, are all slow & purposeful. Enter by deep strike as before but can re-roll scatters. oh and they have 3+ INVULNERABLE SAVES!!!

Holy f~@+ !
I'm so happy.
Do you think this will be a chance to have a whole army
of them? Or just a single sqaud such as DeathWatch?
I hope it's a whole army.... they are just the coolest looking marines ever.

I AM BOOMER!
Sick. No points cost tho. Me thinks they'll be slightly more than 15, mabey 25 like grey knights.
I think it's safe to assume that they will be more expensive than 15. I would also guess around 25, maybe even more.

Plague marines are also 23 for T5, blight grenades and FNP
Berzerkers are S5,WS5,I5, with 4 attacks on the charge for 21 points.
I'd place LotD at 21 pts a model. Awesome save, average everything else. Maybe even 20. They're not better than a 1k son except for a slightly improved Invul, though 3+ is definitely much better than 4+.
Certainly not 25, GW has been dropping the pts for all troops choices in recent books.
I could see 25 points per model...They will probably have ultragrit, 2 base attacks, some kind of invulnerable save (and if it is 3+ that would be sick), and deepstrike. That means they will start out close, rapid fire something, probably survive the incoming hail of fire, and then be able to shoot and charge something with four attacks per guy. That is a pretty nasty unit.
So are the LotD going to be like the God Specific Chaos troops (Berzerkers, Plague Marines, etc), where you can bring them as a Troop choice in your normal Space Marine army, or will they have special requirements?
Half Gods are worshiped with Wine and Flowers. Real Gods are worshiped in Blood.
Blood for the Blood God! Beer for the Bronze Keg!
And no way is it going to be 25 a model. 23 tops.
I reckon they'll be the elite shooting army. Deep strike, unleash heavy bolters, while standing immovable with their 3+ invuln
=o awsome! ive always wanted rules on the LotD, now i feel like i should be converting models now..
too cool, max likey
