One of my friends said that there was a rumor about necron loosing WBB. Is it true that there is a rumor like this floating around?
considering that WBB is a very strong feature of the necron race I doubt that it will be removed from the new codex - however there is a strong chance that it might change in how it operates

The current consensus is that WBB in its current incarnation is a bit complicated and is too often made pointless by the new quick-and-brutal combat style of the latest edition. Thus, Necron players end up paying points for an attribute that never comes up.
We'll Be Back will likely be replaced by Feel No Pain or, at least, a modified version of it.

I, for one, hope this is what happens. For the most part, it conveys the same benefits, with the most notable exception being that the models get up faster (no more waiting until the beginning of the next turn). This conveys a SLIGHT disadvantage, in that opponents get to keep shooting at models that get back up in the same turn, as opposed to the "immunity" they got in waiting until after the opponent's turn was over. Having said that, there are HUGE advantages in the elimination of headaches over things like what happens when a unit falls back leaving down-but-not-out comrades on the battlefield, or having so many WBB rolls to make that you forget some of them at the beginning of your next turn (happened more than once to me).
The other advantage for opponents is presumably (if FNP goes live) they will not be able to port units through the Monoliths and get some kind of FNP re-roll for already-dead models. SO, no more 75% stand-up per Monolith'ed squad.

No offence to Necron players, but I really hope it gets MAJORLY revamped or just removed in favour of something quicker and easier i.e. FnP.
Iv had very few games against 'Crons, but every single one has brought up discrepancies with WBB. Complete ball-ache.
It doesn't really fit in with the faster paced 5th ed now either, having to leave models lying on the tabletop....
Just my two cents!
Herald of the Colonel; Festooned with pistols, riddled with vermin, and finger lickin' good...
Ya the current rumour is that it will be replaced by FnP. It certainly would speed up play and be less hassle to remember but doesnt quite seem as Necron like. (imo)
Currently play: 4000+ of Black Legion
Maybe give them FnP and if they are with 6" of Tomb Spider or teleported via Monolith this turn then they get +1 to roll or a reroll. Reroll might be too muc though. FnP is hard enough to get around at the best of times without a reroll.

Doom Eagle Space Marines
Hive Fleet Omega Tyranids
Goff Ork Boyz(dead)
Tau of O'me
Inquisitorial Xeno Hunters

'Dark Angel Green' Dark Elves in need of fluff
A +1 to feel no pain rolls would make more sense for this. It makes it a bit like Nurgle daemons with the Epidemius tally of nurgle benefits giving them FNP on a 3+.
