I was in Games Workshop earlier today and was talking to some of the managing staff about the Eldar Jetbike pictures that have been surfacing for the past year. According to them it is due for release in roughly 6 months along with more Daemons of Chaos plastics and a new Space Marine Land Speeder variant. Im not sure how accurate this is, so could anyone offer anymore information?
now i dont have n e information for u but, OMG PLASTIC PINK HORRORS i think i just peed myself a little.
Yes i think they said Land Speeder Storm, im not sure about the Pink Horrors, they didnt go into Daemons of Chaos beside saying new plastics are coming out. They seem to think all of these things will be released at the same time. This release will probably co-inside with the Planet Assualt things.
I know that this is largely about WH40K, but this summer is supposedly a second-wave release for many of the Fantasy armies, as well as a summer campaign or program.
Supposedly we are getting a new Dragon, and I would expect that the Daemons would really be the primary beneficiaries of the second wave, since they are a 40K and FB army, and are in need of the most units.
There are rumoyurs about this year getting a 2nd wave of deamon releases, we have seen the pastic deamon prince so it is possible, the landspeeder will without a doubt be part of the 2nd wave of SM releases.
Okay, well the new Eldar Jetbike maybe just a one off release that will happen at the same time as the Daemons of Chaos release. I maybe able to find out more information regarding this tommorow.
Landspeeder storm, huh?
Great, just what we need, more space marine stuff!!
YEAH! Keep beating that horse GWS!
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
I was in the manchester shop and saw some jetbikes in a display case that looked like the ones seen at games day with the prone rider instead of sitting upright. I asked one of the staff when they were due for release. He said they weren't. That the ones I was looking at were another member staffs own conversions and that as far as they new, the bikes seen at gamesday were just "Jervis having some fun", and not intended as a replacement for the older models.
REeal shame because I thought they were spot on.
