Chaos In The Old World Board Game

I'm not sure if this has been posted somewhere else, but it looks as though Fantasy Flight Games are making the best of their GW licence and have announced a new board game set in the Warhammer Fantasy world. You can read about it here:

Fantasy Flight Games [Chaos in the Old World] - Leading publisher of board, card, and roleplaying games.

So my humble Guardsman's fist is as strong as a blast from his laser rifle?

    Cool find!

This'll make a great gift for those warhammer minded, but not miniature bothered!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

It's chaos. That's enough reason for me to keep an eye on it. So far it looks interesting.

Awesome! Release date says "Fall 2009" and I can't wait to hear more about it.

Looks good, I do like tactical board games so I think this will be finding a place in my collection!

Looks like it could turn out to be a good game, if it comes out in the UK might have to buy it.

It'll be out in the UK. You can get Fantasy Flight games pretty much anywhere. I seriously doubt you'd be able to get it from an actual Games Workshop store though - you'd probably have to try independent hobby shops.

Good point, the games workshop stores only stock the citadel line of stuff.

Which is, honestly, really strange. FFG pays for the license, which means that GW will get a slice of the earnings in the end... Why not, then, aim to promote the Warhammer/GW-related games that their partner produce in GW's stores? Even more so when the actual game is set in the Old World.
