    2 things actually, can you show me any codex after the csm codex that has a 0-1 listed in unit entries, probaly not as GW is removing 0-1 limits from codices.
    The 2nd is that Alesso himself said there was an option to take more fex's than at the moment.

    Well i dont know if nids were befor or after chaos but currently we have loads, and i wouldnt be surprised if they kept them, or at least made a similar rule. Otherwise youd see armys such as -9 psychic scream lists, (3 lots of 3 zoanthropes) 2 broodlords in one list, or indeed mass lictor spam, although that last one isnt such a great idea.

    Indeed they may not call it a 0-1 choice, but i would think there would be a similar idea, if not that exactly. As for Alesios comment about taking more fexs, having not seen it, i would interpret that as being more fex types, but as i said i havn't read it.

    The current tyranid codex came out prior to the CSM one and i think they will probably remove all the 0-1 restrictions. Also just because you are (possibly) able to take 9 lictors/Zoanthroapes/carnifexs doesn't mean you are going to. IG are able to take 9 LRs but i haven't seen one army that has 9 of them. Also just because something is strong now doesn't mean it will be in the new codex and you probably won't want to take that many of one thing because it will limit your list and you won't have the same variety of units in your army.

    No need to limit the Carnifex
    They will be moved back to Heavy only.
    9 Carnifex would probably make a poor list as the points would restrict you massively.

    Lets hope they make Biovores and Zoanthropes more useful in the new codex

    The Imperial guard have the Punisher tank which has this many shots, I'm not sure exactly what in a nid army would be capable of this, but it is certainly possible. I wouldn't say it's cheesy as I cant see it having a low ap or a massively high strength, it's not like you see many people running punishers as their just not that effective

    Was reading the gaming section of the Diamond Comics catalogue at the local comics store... Noticed that Tyranids will be featured in a WD soon, and getting a new Codex to boot. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for interesting tidbits and rumours. =) Some of the rumours seem interesting, some a bit worrying, but time will tell.

    Hope there'll be some concept sketches available like there was when 4thEd came out, some of those had good ideas which unfortunately didn't make it to the models themselves. And of course, it's just cool to see the creatures the artists came up with!

    Don't know if I'll get back on the 40K bandwagon, haven't even bought 5thEd yet, but I'll definitely get the Tyranid Codex. Alas, due to my lack of knowledge of the 5thEd rules, I most likely won't be quite as productive as I used to be in the Tyranids section of the board. ^_^;

    5th edition is good, better than the prievious version. What I've heard is that there will be a plastic Trygon and some other new bugs to play with too.

    Here's something: According to Brimstone Raveners will come with 3 per sprue, though he doesn't mention how many sprues come in a box. I would think that based off of that it would be 5 or 6 ravs per box. From what I can gather, GW never puts all the bodies on a single sprue so if there is a 3 ravener sprue then the box probably either comes with another 3 ravener sprue or a different sprue with more raveners on it.
