Was looking thru octobers issue of WD the other day and saw something interesting..
If you look at the pics with nids in them youll see that the weapons on the nids are painted differently than the current nid paint scheme(leviathan) Is this the new paint scheme for Nids? I´m sorry that i dont have any pics to show you, but im sure someone can post them in this thread
By golly you are right. The bio-weapons have been given a dark red scheme instead of the previous bone colour. Interesting..interesting...
Yeah, I thought that too. When i first saw the pics i was like: What is that! did all the weapons broke or something so they had to repaint?
does it matter if there another hive fleet really??, maybe the nid fleet is moving in to take over,
I think actually its just been updated to look better for the codex, its still levithan, just with red guns. personally i think it looks much better, the old scheme had very little variation, too much white, now then guns stand out, like they should. Roll on the codex!
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
The new scheme with red weapons adds some attitude to the scheme. Instead of the scheme looking like a White Supremacist, it now looks like a creepy alien.
Personally, I dont really like the colours of it, looks a little like hive fleet Behemoth colors too me
Maybe it's a splinter fleet of leviathan, or...it's not a new fleet at all... We shall soon find out.
I am glad to find your site - now I know what a good one looks like.
wow!! itz an amazing job!!
