No, the only reason is Mr Jervis Johnson. The genius who decided 40k no longer needs a Lost and The Damned army, no matter that almost every B.L book contains chaos traitors / cultist, no matter that lots of us already had LatD armies, but in him godlike (COALEMUS : Greek god or spirit of foolishness & stupidity ; mythology : KOALEMOS) wisdom he has decided that the LatD don't have a place in normal battles of 40k (yeah you can still field 30+ cultists in a apoc army, coz just like him we all play 3000+ pt battles every time we play a game)
He also gave us the latest chaos codex. And fills 3 pages of W.D every month telling us how we should be thankfull he is employed to ruin 40k for me. (O.k ruin is a tad harsh, but g++++m it, just give us the Lost and the Damned back! You could use that list to make any army you wanted, from sqauts to the monsters of button moon!

Since when has 40K been confined to trdaitional battles? Hell, since when has warfare ever been confined to traditional battlefields? And cultists have always been members of the greater Chaos horde as far as I'm aware..
