Bellow is the new Games Day 2010 miniture. Looks okay but I feel a bit more work could have been put into it.

As for the model, I think it's below average. There is little detail, it's flat looking, a model that is an obvious once-piece cast. The design isn't original, just a basic Chaos sorceror, the normal Sorcerors are much better than that. The left hand with the eye also is bady proportioned, the fingers are too short and it looks like they are stumps or something. Perhaps something that isn't a Marine or Chaos for once would be a new experience for them and improve their sculpting and design skills.
Yeah I'm not exactly singing and dancing with glee at the thought of getting my hands on this model. Hell, I'd rather have something completely useless to me like a lizardman or a vampire than another fragging chaos model (hell if it were a 40k chaos sorcerer that'd at least be a nice change)
Usually the GD mini. pattern 'leap frogs' WHFB and WH40K GD mini year after year, allowing for a wider range of interest between WHFB and WH40K players, this year it looks horrifically different as there is no GD mini for 40k. Looks to be a sad year for any 40k fans out there going to this year's GD . I, personally, am not too fussed about the new GD mini as I think it an awesome sculpt, it's got great character, the horns are of the right size and style, it's face wizened yet heretical enough to fit in with a WoC/Beastmen army, it's hulking upper frame worthy of it's gaming characterisitics, the mutations are very characterful (particularly the tentacle holding the book) without being too extreme, the robes are very nicely done and dynamic and the small hand that some people refer to is the right size, it's just tilted back slightly! So it looks small.
I think it's a really cool mini and better than the Undivided Sorcerer in the current range and ties in well with the army as most of them are heavily armed and armoured, over muscled brutes, why can't the Sorcerer be? .
Even though the last GD I went to (GDUK) was a complete flop at the Awards Ceremony, me and my little brother will most definitely be going this year (it was my little brother's first GD last year and we're still talking about it now, hell, we've even got our GD entries well under way!), so we're pretty psyked for GDUK 2010 and the hobby goodness it will bring ^_^.

I have to agree with Kai here. Whilst a tad disappointing for 40K players, I think it's rather cool. The eye in the hand is just pure chaos!
