I attended the open day this weekend. No pics alas as I forgot the camera but I'm sure some other LO member will oblige.
The star of the show was the Eldar Phantom Titan. Currently at the demo model stage made out of pollyfoam but it measures 18" to the top of the head with the fins adding another 25%. It is armed with a D-cannon like the cobra and a combat blade that will have some anti infantry wrist mounted weapons in the final version. Estimated completion is 3-4 months but release could be further away. The next IA book will deal with Eldar.
Elysian buggies and guys on benches were available. I spoke to Simon Egan about them and he says there may be another variant or two in future. The Elysian range may still be expanded later and I grovelled for a commissar.
In the new IA book Valks are dedicated transports but not vendettas. Sentinels go to elites and buggies are FA. There is a special character buggy in HQ with a few command type bonuses. Elysian army list combines new codex with IA Vol3. No Heavy weapons in squads, deep strike available for most infantry and sentinels. Demo charge in platoon squads, only 1 spec weapon in CCS & PCS. Points upgrade for each unit to cover the deep strike and Iron discipline is still there. Storm troops with hotshots, veterans are in there too. Heavy support is vulture, sentry guns that can deepstrike too (at a point increase). I can't remember if a navy fighter was an option as well.
Ravenguard got some nice assault marine upgrade sets and a character, doors and ven derad were also on sale. The SM assault vehicle shown last year is still on the cards with design starting soon. It is not the storm raven.
Plenty of Ork stuff. Stompa upgrades, tank drivers, grot mini tanks as FA slots, a twin rota open topped skimmer unojficially nick named the Chinork.
Tau battle suits of a more slender design were on display too.
Far future wish/intention/dream projects include Adeptus mechanicus stuff with knights a possibility. They may take the form of a mechanicus explorer fleet investigating a tomb world. Chaos are not forgotten either with an imperial vs Slanesh/Tzeentch book being a possibility.

Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
Oh my god
XV904 - Phased Ion Guns (bye-bye MEQ's and possibly MCEQ's as well)
XV901 - Fusion Cascades (looks to be the ultimate vehicle hunter)
And what's this, a new Shas'O from FW sorting a shield generator and some sort of new weapon? possibly a Pulse Cannon.
Also it looks like there's future plans for a Questor Mechanicus Army and Necrons no-doubt, Mechanicus Knights sounds interesting, though it does sound a little far off.
Better start saving for this year's Games Day, as there's going to be a serious strain on my wallet.
Kai's Happy .
The raven guard special character looks awesome, I've seen the pics on warseer in their FW openday 2010 thread.
And it's fun that they had a handwritten sign next to the Raven Guard Assault Vehicle that states that it's NOT the Stormraven !

Possibility of Forge world doing a Tzeetch/Slaanesh book? My brain just exploded in a blast of happygasm. It would be cool it involved cultists and daemons in the same list. The last Traitor Guard list was basically a "hand-me-down" version of a guard list, out done in every aspect by the normal guard book, other then the fact it could get a few marines in.
My my the phantom titan looks great. I cant wait for it to bend my wallet over and....
I hate you to warhammer. Give me my life and money back!
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points

God damn it forgeworld, I haven't even started my Mekanikus Ork army yet and you're already making my wallet ache with the amount of sweet stuff that I just know I'll want as part of my convoy.
