I'm really liking the look of Life as well as Death. But most of all I'm pleased that they all behave the way you imagine they would i.e. Death being super killy, Life being supporty, Shadows being sneaksy etc.

just so you guys know, the fireball spell is very wrong! only the number of potential hits scale, the strength stays the same!
also just thought of another really viscious combo; cast fulminating flamecage on an enemy unit, then hit that same unit with a casting of wind blast from the lore of heavens!
it's a fairly reliable way to ensure you hit every model in the enemy unit, and a great way to deal with hoard units!
chaos warriors, lizardmen, high elves, empire & VC's can all pull it off...
Im getting sweaty palms over that #6 Lore of Beats spell. Just think of all the fun I could have spamming Tzeentch Heralds w/ Master of Sorcery.
Or taking a Daemon Prince of Tzeentchg, giving him Master of Sorcery and giving him the Lore of Fire, running around with the Flaming Sword and casting that Fire Cloak spell.
So, think your tough with your cheap tricks? Think you can win over spell casting with your dirty dwarfs? Well I have the answer to them, FLAMERS!Or all the fun I can have with a few runes of spell breaking ( yep, dwarfs can still have scroll caddies, because our rune can be taken multiple times ) , first shooting two or three wounds off and using the scroll next turn, or dispel with power dice, killing him instantly due to lost wounds.
Then again, that is my answer to any problem in my gaming group, both in Fantasy and 40k.
I'll have this on my Chaos warriors thanks. Ws5 Str8 Init5 A4. I can't see anything holding up to that.6. Okkam's Mindrazor: Unit Buff. Pick a friendly unit within 18", they attack with their Ld amount for their Strength. The scaled up version has a 36" range.
Even the Basic spell is pretty nasty. Makes Wizard Lords almost useful.
