Hey, so will the codex have photos of the 2nd wave models in it? Or will they do what they did with SM (show the oooold termies, then release models not in that dex for a while) or just not have pics of the 2nd wave stuff at all in the dex?

I went to the Forgeworld Seminar at gamesday.
Their release schedule was IA9 then the second half - IA10 around Xmas. Next was IA1 (reprint with updated rules) followed by Modelling master class vol2. Next year should be IA11 with Eldar vs Space wolves and Elysians in a winter setting.
They showed pics of 2 new eldar tanks the Linx was smaller than the falcon and another was larger. Both were firepower types with no transport capacity. Also an enclosed compartment was shown made from clear resin/plastic. This was for the war walkers to completely protect the pilot. WWs are not open topped anyway so perhapse they have no game function but look good. The Eldar Titan looked great as did the new aspect warrior.
Imperial titans will be getting more guns. I assume the warhound weapons for the top turret of the reaver but they also mentioned new weapons for warhounds! The warlord was mentioned but nothing has been started and it is probably 2-3 years off. More dreads are on the way with MkIV Ironclads on display at the stand. Other dreads for the Main SM legions will be done at intermittent times so heres hoping for Salamander and whitescar venerable dreads.
People asked about thunderwolves and other gap filler units that GW don't do. Tony was non comittal as GW probably have plans to do some of these and he wasn't giving away any GW rumors. A similar argument came to doing models for soon to be released codexes such as DE and Inquisition. The necron centepeed was a one off to keep the necrons happy for a while. DE stuff from FW will have to wait a while until an IA book is sceduled. Someone asked about Aeronautica but it looks like the game is more or less complete. Mecanicus is still an aspiration but nothing has been started.

Cheers for that Mad Cat. Much appreciated.

Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
