O boy o boy! Avatars of war has done some insanely awesome stuff in the past, but now we've entered a new era:
Multi-part plastic dwarf berserkers! ( that's basically dwarf slayers )

I don't use slayers, I doubt I would be allowed to use a unit of AoW slayers in my local GW ( I mean come on.. a whole unit produced by another company in their store, I can understand if they don't want that ) but I think I'll still buy a box, even if it's just for show!
the plastic sets will be available in two formats ( nicely in touch with the needs of the modern 8th edition gamer, a horde-box! ):
Regiment boxed set (20 to 24 minis, depending on the troop type) at 25EUR
Horde boxed set (32 to 36 minis, depending on the troop type) at 35EUR
0.o That's cheaper than GW's plastics!
I agree. The GW dwarf plastics are the weakest of all the wharhammer ranges. Mantic had a go at designing alternatives but I wasn't impressed and their slayer equivalents are metal.
I think these figures look great.
They have legs
They have arms
They have necks
All things that GW dwarfs don't with their chainmail Burka design with axes sticking out.
