This model is huge and is the biggest fantasy model produced by GW.
All current Special Characters will stay with the addition of two new goblin characters. The special characters will largely remain as they are with the only change at the moment being that Wurzag will get the option of going on foot with a blister being released with the first wave.

finally! a thread on this forum!, though it seems that GW are doing a good job a keeping things secret so any info on the new rules would be helpful. Thanks for starting this thread!
They certainly are. They have initiated a fairly tight security program of late. Getting leaks out is becoming increasingly hard, despite this I will endeavour to do my best in keeping people updated.

Most leaks for new GW releases are done by GW themselves and pictures that appear on the net from conventions and stuff aren't really leaks.
Some of them are but those it has become a lot easier to clamp down on those who do release them with "prior" authorisation.
Rep for that post JvK. Wish little birdy would say more lol. I cant wait till march, i feel as excited as a little school girl haha
Warlord Grimtoof Dwarfchewer
check out my WAAAAGH!!! Grimtoof WiP here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...-grimtoof.html
How big are we talking here JvK? (i ask as i place down my 50th ****ing night goblin! Agh!!!)
Size comparrison? FW Fire Dragon? Chaos Mammoth? Bane blade? and is this going to be a kit??
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.
~~ Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death~~
Bigger than steggadon, bigger than the screaming bell. I have been away for the last few days so I was unable to release the latest news. Update arriving shortly. The icon is the Icon of Gork. The Araknarok Spider is nasty but it is bloody expensive, you can have 3 in about 2250pts, one for the Great Shaman and two for the rare choices but I can tell you the rest of the army will be suffering.1. The Araknarok can carry a rock lobber, a shaman or an icon that makes all orcs within 12 inches Stubborn
2. It's the biggest FB monster kit they've ever made. It's bigger than the Stegadon or the Screaming Bell
3. There's an option with the Savage Orcs to carry a stone axe so big that it takes two models to do so: that's why someone mentioned there are 11 Savage Orcs in the box...sort of. It's another figure that's specifically to help with the big axe.
4. The battalion box wasn't mentioned in the meeting he went to: he said he thinks it might come in a sort of "third wave" of releases, a couple of months after the others.
5. The rulebook's definately hardback. I can't remember if he said 112 pages or 120
6. Boys box sets are going down to 15 models, for roughly the same price.
7. Savage orc boar boys will be the same (money) price as the regular ones.
8. He didn't know how much savage orcs would cost (still talking about money, not points) but he said they'd be priced to sell in large numbers. The example he gave was Greatswords: you don't have to field any in an Empire army, and if you do you tend to field 10 or 20. So GW don't sell many of them, so they're relatively expensive to make because they need to recoup the cost of the mould. Empire State Troops sell by the bucketload, so they cost less for 10. He reckons savage orcs will be the same price as State Troops.
9. By being careful (i.e. using one as a shaman mount), it's possible to field 3 aranarok spiders in one army (??? weird. I guess they must be a lot of points?)
10. The pre-orders will be up next week.
The content of the Battalion box is believed to be 15 orc boyz, 10 Savage orc boyz, 20 Night Goblins and 5 Boar boyz.
