Welcome to Librarium Online!
I new a couple of people who went to the school league finals on Wednesday, so I had them do a little snooping. At a presentation GW gave they told everyone that there will be a Codex: Sisters of Battle, much like they have done with Grey Knights.
I also got to put a few questions to the guy who writes to FAQ's yesterday, whilst we knew he couldn't tell us anything. He was able to confirm Sisters will not be going the way of the squat and we will have to watch the space for their Codex.
Further Google searches gave me these concept sketches.... (although I'm not sure if they've appeared here before)
I swear to god, if Matt Ward touches Sisters of Battle, I am selling them and never playing 40k again. At a presentation GW gave they told everyone that there will be a Codex: Sisters of Battle, much like they have done with Grey Knights.
40k: Silver Angels of Our Martyred Lady 7/2/3 - Daemons of the Great Squiggle! 3/1/0
Fantasy: Windhost of Athel'Loren 2/0/0 - Daemons of Another Great Squiggle! 0/0/0
Warmahordes: Legion of Everblight (Absylonia)
Oooh, here's hoping that they do get a release with all new 5th ed goodies... but Matt Ward keeps his dirty mitts off the damn thing!!
*cracks open a beer or two in celebration*
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
the background picture on my computer is also by the same artist, it looks fantastic but tragically it is completely unrelated to GW.
Of course I still think there is some merit to the rumour though
Come see my Necrons, Space Marines, Dwarfs, Orks, Goblins and anything else I feel like painting at my blog: http://modelminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/
Ahahahaha, soon you too will feel the taint. If I must suffer, so will you.I swear to god, if Matt Ward touches Sisters of Battle, I am selling them and never playing 40k again.
On another note. I rember when sources stated it would just be an =I= codex comming out, as I was going to start an =I= army after reading the Eisenhorn books. I got myself a Daemonhunter Codex when they shut down both the Witchhunter and Daemonhunter lines. With the rumors spilling out, I waited on buying grey knights as I expected plastics to come out. While waiting, I got a stunning amount of henchman and stormtroopers for the army, dreaming of what epic things the forces of =I= could muster.
Then Codex: Grey Knights came out. Which all things =I= in the book are more or less a foot note to Robo-er....Kaldor Draigo and his epic adventure of pointlessnessness into the warp. Grey Knights are cool, don't get me wrong. But I went out and got a Inquisitor themed army, only to find out the basicly suck. The entire henchmen sqauds is nothing but akward and overpirced version of guardsmen, other then the new monkey.
Also, woe is me, but my most beloved units of the =I= army just happened to be the radical aspects. Which Arco-Flagellants and Daemonhosts happen to be the poster boys of radical forces. Guess who now sucks and is only a shadow of their former selves? Bingo. I know they had been deemed bad past, but now they are just awful.
As always/ rant over.
Also, does anyone know where all those rumors back in the day about one =I= codex came from?
Ahh I didn't realise that, but it's pretty non-the less.
A little something one of my friends just linked me too... Faeit 212: Leaked Sisters of Battle Codex Pages (Here are the Pics 4 Pages!) and Repressor Pics
