Majority of Necron models are being pulled off the shelves, Necrons and Sisters
of Battle received no Finecast models presumably because of new line of
miniatures. Necrons expected in August, Sisters in Nov/Jan
I thought I was smart, but apparently people don't like to take advice from beggars...
I suppose if Necrons are expected to be released sometime in August, then we shall be getting some previews towards the end of this month (hopefully).
I'm personally eagerly awaiting the Tau. I was wondering if you had any idea of their currently planned release schedule. Previous rumours had their implementation estimated towards Q4 2011 - Q2 2012.
Anyways, thanks for the heads up, hopefully the new sisters look amazing.
Tau my love! You are back!
Actually Sisters of Battle are due a White Dwarf update with it later being released as a PDF, similar to what the Blood Angels had a while back. Necrons due out around October/November in the pre-christmas release slot like the Dark Eldar last year.
So you're saying that sisters are getting the pamphlet treatment or are they getting a reworking until they get re-released? Because if it's just a pamphlet á la blood angels I don't see the range surviving. Great news about necrons though.
Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat
It is to tide the Sisters of Battle over until a working codex can be written. I've heard Phil Kelly is penned in to write the codex itself.
Did anybody ever hear on *when* the sisters plastics are being released? Are they being held until the alleged PDF or until the actual codex release?
Personally, I could use the codex as is, it's the metal/finecast minis that are holding me back.
Hope it's not a WD codex. The words EPIC and FAIL spring to mind. Also I'd rather have plastic then finecast sisters. The more slender/delicate models seem to be the ones with most flash/miscasting. Just from what I've handled and seen like, lol'd at a DE Archon and had to take a picture. No wonder he was the last one on the shelf!
