??? There are no BT terminator models.

It'll be a shame to see their rules brought into line with the vanilla marines, though it's expected. Basic terminators just don't work well but the templars have managed to keep them viable thus far.

No but there is an upgrade pack which the Black Templars used to come with that contained shoulder pads for the Black Templars terminators and a few other bits you could stick on them as well. You can still get it from the GW site.

rather than the stormraven, wasn't there something going round a while back about a plastic cestus assault ram? that'd fit the assaulty BT image better imo.

The Cestus is used for ship to ship combat, hence why it is called the boarding attack craft as it is used for boarding enemy ships. The clue is in the name.

no i think that if the BT get any new units it will be in the form of a five man box with loads of options that can be assembled as multiple units as seems to be the going trend. then maybe a new Dred variant or Land raider variant although i imagine that Templars use Crusaders primarily...

since the old kit will no longer be available i imagine they will re-do Terminators or just tell us to use the generic kit and as for sword brethren they got the finecast kit but that doesnt mean you wont be able to make them out of the standard kit i suppose.

I predict an uber-Land Speeder. Thunderhawk is simply too Apoc-esque, and the Storm Raven is BA and GK exclusive (though I wonder how the GKs build their Storm Ravens, honestly). I'm imagining the Land Speeder that carries Scouts but doubled in size and able to carry PA troops.

Exactly. Your Templars could even use Infiltrate in this new transport; they just need to get baked into a pie which is delivered to the enemy.

*Necron sitting around at home, hears doorbell and goes to investigate. Sees a pie cooling on the doorstep. Bends down to pick it up and

"FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!" Transport full of Templars flies out and rampages all over the Necron house, leaving dirty pie footprints everywhere and upsetting the cat.*
