I'm a little bit sad to see some of the titles I've worked with for years and years go. But if thats my only complaint, then I guess I'm doing ok! I'll be picking up a few and trying them out.

I don't know if this has been said already.
But my guess the layer paints are just another way GW see's they can make money from people that are too lazy or don't know how easy it is thin down their paints for layers and washes.

think they had a perfect opportunity to start putting their paints in decent dropper bottles and they blew it......useless gets.
It's also sad that GW thinks its customer base to be so stupid that they need to be told what should be used as layers, basecoats etc etc, probably same reason why all the banners now are moulded....learn to paint what????? I have no time I myst reach level 80 on skyrim
*edit*
I might have been ranting

Keep in mind 3 things.
1) Little kids and new players with very little painting experience DO collect and paint GW products
2) People like me don't have the time to layer everything we do that uses certain colors
3) GW, as much as we complain, does know how to make certain aspects of our lives easier
I dont know how many of you were aware of the "boycot" on Left 4 Dead 2, where TONS of people said they would never buy it because their "free DLC" promise wasn't upheld quite as much as they wanted, and when the 2nd game was released, a group on steam showed like 85% or something of the "boycotters" playing said game. GW is doing the same thing as the game developers, even though we don't NEED new things, and even though we might say they are "not necessary" or anything of the sort, alot of us are going to get it anyways.
Its kinda like the liquid green stuff. I know alot of people who were angry GW even had the thought come up to make such a product, they swore they wouldn't even try it. I have, I think that for certain applications (small gaps) it does the exact same thing as regular GS, and even though it has less use overall, I still like it around. Why? Because for what it IS good at, its just as good as regular GS, but doesnt have the mixing time and all of that for me to hassle over. The pain is the same concept. It might be unnecessary to get most things done, but its there for when you want to speed up particular processes.
Anyone ever made an army with white as the primary color (white scars perhaps)? Then how awesome would it have been to cut the painting time down even a few minutes a model if you could by having a better white paint?
Just seen the "what's new today" post about an intercepted secret transmission. link below
What's New Today | Games Workshop
The main theme is 145, and through painstaking counting and scrolling i have counted that there are 145 new paints. coincidence? very unlikely, it is likely these paints are to be released or announced on the 24th of march, making that a saturday, and after looking at the new glues being released almost instantly and due to the sheer amount of paint choice I doubt there will be advance orders and GWS will pretty much have them shipped on the friday to the local stores when they'll be announced on the blog late afternoonish (yes that is a time.) i'm guessing.
So anyway.. PAINT!![]()

I'm pretty disappointed with the price of the paint bundle. I was expecting to be able to save money by buying in bulk, instead they're charging $645 for the bundle, which happens to be the exact amount it would cost if you were to buy them all individually.

I will say, however, that I'm pretty excited about this new range. I'm planning on starting a new Beastmen army, so I think I'll have plenty of opportunity to experiment and familiarize myself with the new paints.
