Come see my Necrons, Space Marines, Dwarfs, Orks, Goblins and anything else I feel like painting at my blog: http://modelminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/
IMO some of the recent models have been aweful, those VC things (those flying chariots) and some of these empire things, they look like some kind of super laser, and the wizard himself as far as I can see seems to be lacking a bit in detail.
The demigryphs and the gryphon on the other hand look great.
Did they just added lasers to fantasy?!?!?!?!?!?!They need some power armor too!
Praise be to the Emperor!!
for anyone that cant see most of the pictures, i found them at Tabletop Fix: Games Workshop - WHFB Empire April Releases (via warseer) The new griffon looks nice. I hope the big metal chest plate is optional for now empire players. Would be awesome for storm of magic games. The new cart is somewhat distressing. I hope when they get around to releasing the new DE book whatever huge model they decide to cram into the army list isnt some insane model with so much detail that you can't even focus on the model as a whole.
Pilot: We already got. Chaos Armour!

Im loving the demigryph models, just wondering if anyone has any idea on base size, Im thinking they will be on chariot bases,
As they bear quite a few similarities to Necropolis Knights / Sepulchral Stalkers which use chariot bases.
As in an elite calvary unit, and you again get three in the box (reading the text in the picture)
Plus the final nail in the coffin for me is the warhammer forge empire character on demigryph is on a chariot base.
Just wanting to get a rough idea on size
If He is For me, Who shall stand against me
Looks like 50x50 to me. The angle makes it seem longer but i would imagen its same as juggernaut.
I can just about bear the war altar, but the luminark, and that huge globe...
You'd have to pay me to make and field one. Seriously, half of the decisions I make about what I'm going to buy are based on the models. If it's excellent in game I can always convert one, but I would never use one of those.
