I was initially very excited until I saw it was tagged under forge world. Not that there's anything wrong with forge world, but its going to be a little more expensive that way.

It's a guard flyer, not a marine flyer.
Forgeworld mentioned (when they previewed it a couple of months back) it was going to be a more modern style lightning, but the designer got carried away and built something entirely different.
At £85 (£95 with shipping) it's more than I expected. Even the old thunderbolt is cheaper and that's a fair brick of resin compared to this one.Last edited by A.T.; July 13th, 2012 at 15:49.

Yeah it was previewed on the April fools day open day. It looks a little star wars esque.

Don't much care for the wing design. They need to get back the the basics and make more flyers as cool as the classic Marauder.

The thunderbolt is still the sexiest flyer out there.
