Does anyone know anything about a new worldwide campaign that GW will run? like the eye of terror/armageddon campaigns. i personaly think that if they do make one, they should base it around the C'Tan awaking in droves and trying to reclaim the universe that has now been infested by the unworthy lesser races. they could make rules for necron players to make their own C'Tan god, and make some new necron units! oh and before anyone calls me biased, im not even a necron player, i play as orks. i just think that the reawakining of the C'Tan has great potential for a campaign!
p.s- does anyone know if any of the old ones survived the war with the C'Tan?
pretty sure the dark crusade will be the next campaign and the setting is the imperium getting their butts handed to them by xeno races
Their are 4 C'tans left. The Nightbringer, The Decivier, The Outsider and The Void-Dragon. There will probably be no C'tan-campaign because they would be centered on the awakaning of the two Sleeping Ones and if the Void-Dragon wakes, the Galaxy would die.Originally Posted by Ickebeebon

Then the C'tans seperated the warp from real-space and the Old Ones disappered. After that an eternity of slaughter begun.
No one knows if the Old Ones died, the Eldar says that they are in a death-state and will not return for loooong.
So no, no C'tan/Necron-campaign. GW has stated that the next campaign will not be an "End of the World"-campaign so I think it will be about Tau and the Imperium.
Where did you get this information about seperating warp space from reality? As far as i remember they never actually finished doing that.
Ask not the ruleboys a question for they shall give you three answers each true and terrifying to behold
It is in the Necron 'dex. When did it, the Old Ones disaperead.
In the necron dex it says they are currently working towards that goal. If the warp was seperated, then there would be no more psykers, no warp travel, etc. And as for the C'Tan, the dex says that the Nightbringer is the most powerful of them. If the nightbringer is the most powerful, then why would the galaxy instantly die if a weaker c'tan woke up?

oh, i guess didnt read my necron codex closely enough, i didnt realize there were only 4 C'Tan left. Damn, i really thought that a C'Tan campaign would be cool.
Yes and no, the Dark Crusade will be a Black Templar vs Tau vs Eldar vs Orcs. And it want be a worldwide campaign(Something like Lustria). I am also 100% sure that this summer the next Worldwide Campaign will be the Rise of Nagash, why? Well cause already Army of Kemmler made the app. in the WD and is confirmed in the Games Day that Nagash will return with a new mini and new rules.Originally Posted by Cosmic_mad_hatter42

MEAT IS MURDER
What I heard from my contact at GW is that there were no plans for a major centralized campaign (i.e. with players registering their results online in the way of the Cadian campaign).
It would be either more like Lustria, giving campaign settings and rules, and providing events in GW and rogue trader stores, or like the LOTR campaign, i.e. with registered results, but a relatively simple system.
The campaigns were becoming too huge and unwieldy as they were, and there was the fear to have to rewrite background for WFB and W40k, something GW does not want to do, as it could upset players who've built their armies around a specific piece of background.
It's gonna eventually be Chaos verus Necrons. The explosion of the eye in to the physical reality probably set back the C'tan plans. And if they separate the realities, no more Chaos. 4 Gods versus 4 remaining C'tan? I know this isn't coincidence. Time for the pwnger, blood, and death to commence.
FIGHT! FINISH HIM! Fatality...
