    Dark Crusade 2006

I don't know how many of you guys bother getting the GW Webway Newsletter, but in the latest edition they've announced what next year's campaign is going to be.
Following on from the Eye of Terror campaign, next year is the Imperial Retaliation, doing what they can to gain worlds back. As can be expected, the Black Templars are the army of the day (with a litttle help from their friends) and War once again reigns supreme.

Doesn't really look like the campaign of the year, as it's US only and involving what marines and about five other armies? I think it's just a mini thing done over the pond for people, I don't think you should be getting your hopes up just yet.

Of course the Ultramarines can participate. If the Eldar and the Dark Eldar were having a secret private war the Ultramarines could paticipate because GW loves their Ultras.

They need to bring in more than just 5 armies. I just can't see this being done by GW. They are leaving out too many armies. But then again, they left out alot in EOT also so yea, guess we will just have to wait and see. I want to see a tyranid invasion with tau also invading from the damocles gulf and then the dragon wakes up on Mars. That would be on interesting campaign.

Wasnt that article in like 2 WDs ago? Anyways if you look at the Dark Eldar models in the shop, it shows them with cool new boxes and the last time they did that, they got new minis. But it could just be new boxes and them just annoying me.

Here's a list of all the armies mentioned in that link given above, starting with the Imperial armies. They are all Space Marines, yes, but it's a lot of variety, so technically not just one army.. not exactly official, but they are noted (nice conversions of them posted, too):
    • Black Templars
    • Blood Angels
    • Ultramarines
    • Legion of the Damned
    • Brazen Claws
    • Raven Guard
    • Crimson Minotaurs
    • Crimson Fists
    • Deathwatch
    • 13th Company
    • Cruciform Sword
    • Dark Angels
    • Raptors
    • Blood Ravens
    • Hawk Lords
    • Rainbow Warriors
    • Scythes of the Emperor
    • Space Wolves

Followed by Orks, Tau, Eldar, and Dark Eldar.

The only ones not mentioned there are Chaos, Tyranids, and Necrons.. the other Imperial armies, Witch Hunters, Daemonhunters, and Imperial Guard, will most likely be there. Has anyone ever heard of so many Space Marine chapters going out to war without the Inquisiton and a steady supply of Imperial Guardsmen not going with them?
