Ive been hearing alot of gossip down at my games workshop that tau may be joining the impirium is it true because I keep telling them they only fight for the greater good
I have a feeling that the Imperials may sign a sort of temporary alliance with the Tau, since they now have Chaos posing more of a threat than ever and could do without the little blue guys gaining more and more territory in the Eastern Fringe. It would at least give the Imperium a chance, instead of having to stop TWO advancing enemies, and allows them to focus their forces on dealing with Abaddon. The Tau would probably think that the Imperials were beginning to see the light of the Greater Good...
"...But know this: We are the Tau, emissaries of the Greater Good, and we will not rest until we see this galaxy brought into the freedom of the Tau'va.
Our day will come. And it is coming soon."

Haha the Tau are gonna be in trouble soon from the Nid's (their main passage into the 40k galaxy is through the eastern fringe) so maybe there will be a alliance against them as well as chaos, i mean the tau arent really a big threat to the Imperium at the moment ,because they dont have warp capable ships or warp navigators or sumthing like that
Hmmm I understand now but tau can take out nids no prob but I suppose the backup of the impirium would Help get rid of the "EXTRA" Numbers
A new rule is thereby born: "Any game played between Tau and Tyrannids results in a win by the bland Japanese aliens irrespective of the reality of the final scoreline."Originally posted by The_Killer@Dec 22 2003, 063

That seems fair enough I can't see any reason at all why the space insects wouldn't go for that rule; after all it is for the goodlier grate or something as equally twee.
I was under the impression that Hive Fleet Kraken's power was shattered and there are only splinter fleets to contend with. I think the new Tyranid threat is Hive Fleet Leviathan which is coming up through the galactic plane, worrisomely close to Terra. It may even be smashing into Segmentum Solar.

It would b cool to see that. And even better to see the eldar step in to it. Probably only a couple of craft worlds would do it but hey anything is good right now. If the alliance were to happen would it mostly be in fluff and games with teams and such.
Church: So let me get this straight you gave the guy our flag.
Caboose: Is that bad?
Church: Bad, bad, no next why dont you just help him blow up the whole god @#%& base.
