Heard a rumor that said terminators might get 1+ save. Remember that a 1 always fail though! But there's only a few weapons (melta, railgun...) that can get rid of that save then. Another option was to decrease the plasma's AP to 3. Agree that at 6 pts the plasma gun is a bit TOO cheap...
i doubt it, the only +1 saves are the cover saves for tiny models

Well first of all I pay 10 pts...lol..but anyway a plasma gun is the only thing keeping Zaonthropes at bay. Otherwise they would have to make lascannons cheaper. I think termies are fine the way they are... last game 2 died to bolter fire. Whereas my GM wiped out 32 hormagaunts while only recieving one wound himself ( okay so it was a tight space, and I had holocaust..but comeon ! ).

no way. Terminators are good enough, and there balenced. If they changed them they owuld have to increase the points and would risk making it horrabley unbalenced.

1+ and of course ones always fail, wouldnt that be a 2+ armor save technically, but anyway a 1+ that would be insane for a termie, and personally i think having to face a squad of one is difficult enough!

for the small guys , they dont get a 1+ save, the add +1 to their save right? i mean, if a small guy had a cover save of 4+ then he would add 1 to his roll so that a 3 would count as having saved him, so he has a 3+ save
It is essentially a 2+ save, but AP2 weapons will still allow a save, so only things that are AP1 or ignore armor saves would make them take their invulnerable.
As for plasma being AP3, NO!!! :blink:
I don't want DA to lose one of their biggest advantages, especially against termies
I think terminators are fine as-is, ==My== 5-man Deathwing Squad (2 cyclones, 1 LC pair) have slaughtered many a foe, including a Hive Tyrant, 2 broods of Tyranid gaunts, many tanks, an IG platoon,a Marine army (Devastators+3 Tactical Squads)

Don't DA tac squads get a PC for like 15 pts...now that needs to be fixed !
Anyway, there's alot of talking now about the plasma. At 6 (or 10) pts it's a bit too cheap for a S7 AP2 weapon. I doesn't explode that often anyway (well, my salamanders reroll it..). Shouldn't GW do something about that? And don't forget the RAPID FIRE.
