"Fight for justice, not revenge."
FoW Gepanzerte Panzergrenadiers who took a wrong turn at Tunisia and magically appeared in Normandy as Panzer Lehr: Wins: 11 Losses: 8
dont you think it looks like knuckles the echidna (sonics mate)
I don't like that at all, to be honest with you.
It's got really dodgy looking lightning claws, and has "U" printed all over him...
On the other hand, he's in a pretty "Bring it!" sort of pose.
his lightning claws are to big for me, his pose is nice but he isn't really great
"Ask not the Eldar a question, for they will give you three answers; all of which are true and terrifying to know"
Well, my friend is starting an Ultramarine army and I agreed to sign up for WD for him just to give him that model.
Though I never do understand it. Why all the Ultramarine hate?
I must say, those are some serious lightning claws. Pretty cool pose: it's how i always imagine lightning claw termies just as they unsheath them...
The U is, I think you'll find, an upper case omega (symbolic of the 'end'), inverted to look like a U as the symbol of the Ultramarines chapter, so he has a perfectly good reason for having it all over him. What with him being and ultra-ultramarine.
The UM hate is because they're so... vanilla. Space marines are the single most oversold, overbought, and overplayed army GW has ever released. They span half a dozen codices, and have several entries in every update book. With this much choice available, is it not justified that people dislike people who don't use any of the more interesting alternatives?

He could be really cool if you file down that mohawk and all of the ultramarines iconography, assuming of course that you don't play Ultramarines. If you convert him like that, he would make an awesome captain, vet. sgt., or whatever.
1500 years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the Universe
500 years ago everybody knew the world was flat
5 minutes ago you knew humans were alone on the planet
Imagine what you'll know tomorrow
Yea I saw this in WD. I'm probably going to renew my subscription in the time frame to get this model. I don't UM, heck I don't play SM at all, but it's a pretty cool model, and I'm going to resubscribe anyway. Saves me $15 dollors in the end so why not.
I figure I might do some conversion work, or just paint him for competition.
But I agree, they are always coming out with new SM models and characters. Sure they got a new codex and new BT codex. But did Tyranids get a new characters? no they lost one. I think Tau got one at least. Still, enough with the SM stuff, give us some cool models/characters for other other armies.
