I was in my local gaming store and one of the staff told me that the dark eldar models are going to get renewed in the near future, has anyone else heard of this?
You are doomed, DOOMED I tell you!
For tonight we will feast on your very souls!
if the near future means over a year away then maybe
right now it looks to go eldar, dark angels, then orks, first, plus you have to take into account games workshops desire to push out the marine chapter upgrade sprues ASAP, so thats also blood angels and maybe space wolves as well

Chief Inspector Dreyfus: Are you wounded?
Clouseau: No. Fortunately I was saved by the darkness.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: So what we need is more light.
Eldar is the next Codex, looks awesome. New rules for Fire Prism (well, back to old rules really - linked fire...), new HQ unit called Autarch (Eldar who has travelled all Aspect paths, but not become an Exarch. Can choose ANY combination of Aspect Warrior kit.), upgraded Shining Spears (now useful, Laser Lances are Lance weapons, also better in close combat), new models (of course!) including an Avatar which is seriously sexy.
The standard army list tends towards Biel Tann, which is good. I hate Guardians being the basic troops. Why, if you can see the future and your entire modus operandi in war is clinical application of force, do you leave your highly trained warriors at home and take the gardeners, painters, actors and cooks?
Dark Angels will be a seperate book from Blood Angels et al.
Yeah, but those people are either nuts or uninformed, because GW has confirmed many, many times that Dark Eldar are not going to be in the Craftworld Eldar Codex. A few Harlequins will be included, but only enough to take as Elites choices, not enough to field a full army. No other variants of Eldar will be included, and this is pretty much known for certain by anyone following Eldar rumours for the last 3 months.Originally Posted by blacksmoke_canadianThis is also something that quite simply isn't going to happen.AlSO the rumour is that dark angels, space wolfs and blood angels will be put into one codex ( like the craftworld, different armies one book) just because having the 3 or 4 seperate books is just a pain since they are all basically space marine spin-offs
nearly everything he have said is junk.Originally Posted by blacksmoke_canadian
and DE 's not in eldar codex and why in the world would they combine chapters?
