Mind Worm is essentially Mind War. Except it counts as a heavy weapon. And only Ezekiel has it.
Force Barrier-Leadership Invulnerable Save. Once per turn.
Hellfire-Template, S 2d6-2, AP d6, Assault 1.
Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
Worm sounds a little rubbish, Psykerness is done from the brain which doesnt really have that long a set-up time (unless getting up in the morning).
Force Barrier-Do you mean you only get the Ld thing v's 1 wound a turn? if so it's (in my mind) of somewhat limited utility as your 1 power for a turn.
Hellfire, I don't like randomness, it'll always be a S6 ap3 template on Tau and then a S5 ap4 one when you use it on SM, could be quite fun with Ravenwing and a S10 ap1 flamer could be funny on occasion.
I'd be interested to see if these come true, I dont think they 'feel' DA though.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
Sounds interesting, but the mindwar one should be any Librarian. And disagree with the heavy weapon thing, seeing as Eldar don't have that restriction.
I take the Force Barrier one to mean if you need an invulnerable save, you make a leadership test. You can only do this once per turn, in addition to another power active that turn. Has potential, but unless it's cheap, seems like a waiste.
A unique power that is ranged, at least 18", and causes the targetted unit to make a leadership test at -2 or be pinned. The idea being, the DA are out to get the Fallen and Cypher. They want to capture Cypher, meaning he needs to be "killed in combat" by game rules. So if a unit gets pinned, and then assaulted, this means you are almost guarenteed a few "captures" for chaplains to do their work. >
Sounds interesting, I like the flamer one, seems like a copy of the dark eldar destructor though. (ap d6 flamer)
Gman, the eldar don't have that restriction because they are the most powerful psykers in the galaxy, the dark angels aren't, the eldar SHOULD have better psykers than the imperium, though i'm still not utterly convinced that they do.
For the other power, this old eldar special character used to have armour that made her take a leadership test every time she took a wound, if the passed it, she ignored the wound, ammounted up to pretty much a 2+ invunerable save. This just looks like a toned down version of it.
Looks like all these powers are just copying eldar ones... couldn't they think of anything original?
