1 x NEW Librarian
5 x NEW Plastic Devastators
5 x Assualt Terminators
15 x Dark Angel Marines
1 x Predator
5 x Scouts
1 x Ravenwing Vehicle Sprue.
Hmm sure glad I'm oncall next week, that means some OT $$ that I already have plans for. mwuahaha. Is this US or UK release dates though? Seems a tad early since they just barely put a sneak preview up on US site this week.
So the RW upgrade sprue is to add to a landspeeder and/or bike basic kit?
The librarian is cool model in general, but I think I like my DA Liby conversion better. Besides he will be unique, which is always cool.
I like the majority of these models, but i'm somewhat suspicious about the Army Box contents.
Why a Ravenwing Vehicle Sprue with no RW in the box? two HQ's? Assault Terminators have appeared in the DA rumours first, but I think they're in the box just because they dont sell too well.
I'll say it again ROBES WAHOO THANK YOU!!!
But as for the static Devastators? well i've never really modeled them hurdling over walls while toting thier H.Weapon. I'm also a little disapointed that you dont get 10 in a box but do you get some Vet Sgt gubbins? I would be surprised.
For £135 your actually only getting 35 models (thats including the RW sprue). Yes i know 1 is a tank but you are getting 2 HQ choices as well. Only 15 marines is also a bit strange. £135 divided between 35 models is almost £4 a model. And for me thats not a very good deal at all.
wow maybe Im just in a bad mood or something but Im very dissapointed I think the captain and dread are probabbly the best of the bunch I really dont know If I like the way the robes are looking.
I have to agree that the price seems high for what you get. But the SM megaforce is 34 models for 100 pounds. I added up the normal SM equivalent models off the online store and it would come to 144 pounds. (sorry can't figure out how to make brit money sign) So I guess it's a deal. I counted the one squad of 5 marines as a veteran squad though. That's what they look like.
I wish they showed the scouts though cause I'm curious what kind they are, the ones with basic weapons, or the sniper rifles ones.
i still find it odd that they make the normal marines seem to be in robes and the devastator marines. Robes used to be for deathwing members only. It's a cool look for an army and all, but kind of makes it less cool for the fluff.
