New Horus Heresy Book in the pipes

From the mouth of Marc Gascoigne, publisher at the Black Library...

In addition to "Fulgrim" (McNeill) , and "Descent of Angels" (Scanlon), we now have "Legion" by Dan Abnett due out in spring '08. No word yet on what it's about.

I was very excited to read that Marc Gascoigne confirmed that Legion will follow the exploits of the Alpha Legion:yes: along with Imperial Troops. See thread below for actual quote.

nice to hear that they're continuing the series, though i havn't read the novels yet but, i'm still intrigued and the front covers as well as the fluff to keep me going.
how many in the series are out now? (i can't tell!)

    could be...:shifty:

more likely that they'll never reveal it, overwise it won't be their darkest secret if everybody knows about it:cry:

Currently, there is only 3, not including the one that just came out. I don't include Flight of the Eisenstein as it's not at B&N yet.

    So, 4.

I'm going to assume the series ends with the final battle on Terra. I love this series.

my reckconing is we will get one for most of the legions that were heavily involved in the HH, with the final book being the Battle for Terra as mentioned above. hopefully we will get a book for the Wolves of Russ destroying the heretics sons of that traitorous mutant Magnus. For Russ!
