i get all my inside knowledge from a little elf called "the newsletter", legend has it that some few chosen are worthy or receiving this elf. :ninja:
but you're right, it is some pretty sweet stuff
The trenches look tops, but you would have to put a heap of work into your battle-field to get it in. (having to build it up enough to fit it's height & all).
I doubt anyone would build up their whole field so that the trench is just at ground-level (which would be best), 99% of the time it would only be 1 built up section. Meaning those trenches would always be at the top of a 'hill'
I wish Forge world had a Branch in Aus. Its already expensive, but the addition postage makes it out of the question. Which is a shame because some of it is great.

Wow great job FW keep up the good work and make me cry myself to sleep each night knowing that I can't ever afford to buy those awsome models and terrain  . Either way the trench system looks top notch and would be a worthy addition to any terrain collector.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

the only pisser about fixed-in-place fortifications on a board is this,
after a few games, the strong points (and hard to defend areas) become painfully obvious, and monotony starts to set in, as the same areas are defended/exploited/blah-blah.
They look great, but they are WAAAAAAAY too much money to spend on a board that you'll quickly tire of.

I might get some trench works one day, I'll put them in a styrofoam hill so I can move it around as setting it into one table forever is such a waste. And I like how FW has managed to cram 50 IG into a Gorgon! Nice one!
