Welcome to Librarium Online!
A reliable blackshirt told me and my friend that plastic tomb spiders are in the works. It's the reason why the old version has been taken off the shelves and put in direct order. From what I hear, they're due to get the Carnifex treatment...

I had heard that they were out of range but I was told it was due a re-package to put the two weapon options in one blister.
Plastic makes sense (not as much as plastic immortals) as they are high volume metals. Still don't know if it's true, though.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I hope they get plastic. That would make conversions so much easier.

Shells For the Shell Throne!
I dont care if they are re-made or not, although plastic is always nicer. I just want their rules revised!
70-odd points is a STEAL for a monster with those stats + killing blow + poison + it came from below etc. it should be more like 90-odd points

eh, just have them both in the same box.
the basic tomb spider is the Warhammer one, and it comes with a shell to make it into the Necron one, or is that just pushing the boundries a little?

I'd put my bets on the 40k model judging from the postee's avatar and the fact that he reffered to it as 'getting the carnifex treatment', if he associates directly to 40k like that he must be talking about 40k, go subconscience, go.

Tomb Scorpions, yes, spiders, no.
Exactly, and the necron one is spelt "spyder" anyway... so I really have no idea which one this rumour means. The tomb king one or the necron one?

Having them in plastic would help simply putting the #$%*& thing together.....
I am surprised at this rumour though, as I have not heard anything about a new necron codex.
