One suggestion, and others might disagree, is having so many pics all in one post. It kind of overwhelms in the painting and conversion threads.
In my defence I sort of wanted to get it off with a bang so it would attract some attention, no point having this thread if people don't have at least something to like in it.

It was a lot shorter but I found another bunch of relevent photos and besides, I've seen some posts in painting upto 30 photos...

More is better than less in this particular instance, In the future I'll be doing more specialist ones I think so yeah...

I can usually tell that they are because they mess up my window. If you right click them and check properties, it should tell you their height and width.

I hadn't actually looked at it since I put up those photos, I normally resize anything I put up on this site, infact every photo I have is 700 pixels now, just incase I want to put it up here, but I guess I must have missed them while I was in photoshop screwing around. they are links now

Crud, so many things to address. Each in turn.

I've got a number of scenic images as well, so you can always PM me for any suggestions or contributions .

Anyhow, it's still very cool and I'm glad you're doing. Rep up, duane!
Yes, double yes in fact. About 10 images is the most you should post. Anymore, and it certainly is overwhelming. I try and keep the daily threads to 8 or less, but sometimes, I still get carried away.

You can edit the images in photobucket, in case you're wondering

If anyones interested ive got many a picture of cool terrain, especially trenches, cityfight and quite cool gamesday tables.

I can see what ive got depending on the theme each week. if i can suggest a topic: trenches. I've only been able to find a few good examples.

I'd love to contribute and good on ya omgitsduane for starting the thread. ive been waiting for it ;Y

cheers, earl.

You should definately put some of your stuff up Inq. Earl - it is very nice terrain (I'm still trying to get over that 4way board thing you did with the train)

Earl that train job you did was fantastic, I for one would love your spam of it on here, any pictures that we DIDN'T see from the thread would be good.
I'll make a note of the trenches request

I didn't know there was a limit, and since I've seen picture threads with huge amounts that just set it for me, plus I thought the overall feel of the picture wasn't enough for that first board without the extras.

Does the 10 images include links? or links a different kettle of fish because people only have to see them if they want to?

I knew about the photobucket editing, but since I didn't realise they were oversize, It wouldn't have helped

Part of the problem is beyond your control, people quoting the entire post and then seeing the same long, string of pics three times on one page. Ugh, but I don't see any way around it that's worth the trouble. That's one reason I like shorter strings of pics.

But you're right, for an opening post, it sets a good tone. Lots of exciting pics. Thanks again.
