That's a shot, lol. For those of you who don't get that check out the link in my signature about simple city objectives. Good times. And the actual scenery building will start once the poll closes. I set it up for two weeks so that everyone could see it and vote and to give the three of us that are going to be in it some time to prepare(and Im going to be out of state for the next five days). However once the topic is picked there is no stopping us.

As for the overdone or rather broad topics of scenery, I wanted something that would be simple but fun for the first round. For the next one if it happens(and Im assuming its doing to) we'll ask the forum for some ideas and then vote on them. Only about 7 days left to vote so make your opinion and voice count (lol your voice count online, . . . thats funny). And sorry to OMG and shonuff for not being online or around at all since friday. Our local awesome sci/fantasy convention was this past weekend and I was busy being an uber-nerd. Won first place overall in the 40k tournament. First guard player ever to place in the top 3 and this 'con is 27 years old. Emperor protects.

Yeah we're waiting this long, because both gaunt and I thought it was a great idea, but we weren't free enough to devote the proper time to this. We agreed to bump it up a week or two , until we're both more free. (I have off work all next week. mhwahaha!)

As for -T, I thought I sent you a PM? might have ben a fever dream...not sure.

Yes i too am chomping at the bit to start this. I was going through my bits box and pulling "may this will work. oh hey, this looks cool" all night. GOt the stuff all OCD separated for each terratin type, in case we get an influx of votes and don't end up doing machinery/industrial.

Gaunt/Duane , want to agree now on a size? 4x8 inch? 6x12 inch? 3x6 inch? Let me know what size is good fer you. if you'd rather wait and see what type of scenery we start get then choose size, that's fine too, but either way

Haven't got anything from you, maybe there was a ghost in the machine...
O_o

As far as size goes, I'd suggest 8"x4" as a rough size, but I'm not entirely sold on having such enforced restrictions on size...

When the topic is decided, I shall sticky up an info thread (should you have one), which would probably best have links to all the tutorials/WIP threads...
That's how I'd be organising it, anyway =)

I'll be having a think about how to enter this one myself...

Posting a sticky with links to the WIP threads would be awesome as I figured each person in the contest was going to start there own WIP thread. All is going according to plan.

yeah. Reason we're limiting the max of the terrain piece, is because we don't want to go
"okay do a grimy industrial terrain piece"

One guy does a 4''x8'' piece of a building. Simple LOS blocker with snazzy bits,
the other guy does a 12'' x 24'' 3 story factorum, with like 40.00 USD in bits tacked to it, and lik three minis used in some ingenius way as scenery like dead bodies and limbs and stuff, a wrcked landspeeder in the side of the factorum..etc.

It's hard to judge those two against each other.

On the Iron Chef show, they are to make three dishes.. giving the chefs a limit as to how much to make.

We want the other members of the forum enjoy the competition and b able to sit down and make a copy of our terrain (hence the WIP step by step pics).

And 4''x8'' is doable Gaunt. I'd be down with that.

I think maybe we should use the votes for this, if it becomes a very obvious vote for a particular piece, then do a larger one, if its almost tied off to one of the smaller then lets all just have a talk and decide on one? I also think that if one person (ie me) doesn't find the time to make a larger piece, perhaps make a smaller one but obviously take into consideration during the vote the amount of time for such a piece...

Shonuff add me to msn already, I've added you twice you must keep blocking me!
