Iron Scenery entry

Did you want to open the scenery max size to 12x12?

Gaunt went a bit big, and i can always yank mine off it's base, putting it on a bigger base.

I know you wanted to do something different on a bigger scale, So if you want, let me know..
If you want to keep it 6x12'' and just keep picking on gaunt, that's fine too

I have no issues with 12x12. And next time I will read the rules a little more carefully. Again sorry.

I haven't got anything big enough to use for a 12x12 base I was lucky enough to even find the 12x6 one I'm using, I'm using pva as well and although I could yank it all off the base too some of the parts will take hours to get back to where they were... The single fence poles took me half a day to finally get them set enough that they wouldn't fall down while drying.
Just let gaunt do his thing and next time we will read the size

Painting just got UGLY
Yeah its a mess right now, but thats because spray cans don't come with super thin nozzles to shoot with... although... I could try and make one, either way this is where I'm at and its a shame in comparison to gaunt and shonuff but oh well I tried




This is just spray paint at this stage, I moved lots of the flock around doing some very stupid things but I won't go into detail about that right now, I'm wondering what to do with the rest of the paint as I have no idea what colors I'll be putting onto any of this at all...

I would of preferred a black base for the buildings but what can ya do ey? I will be coloring any sand that got turned grey today, as well as painting some of the leaking goo and the pipes maybe a boltgun metal, I think its a nice worn color for such a thing.

I really liked where it was at too but I have NO black left now, the brown I'm using is made from oil paints and after numerous tries I can't get a nice looking rust, I really wanted a black base for the building and I can't even do that.

Maybe one day I'll finish it but its just not now. And I still have the girlfriend, she can entertain herself, but I've been finishing off my orks, I went through last night and gave them ALL custom sluggas and removed all their mold lines and slowly but surely will paint them just as good as my kommandos.

I got the best of both worlds, unfortunately I'm broke and anything I do to try and rectify the situation is coming up wrong... I don't know WHEN I'll ever get money again to be honest...
