Tau Empire Missile Battery Built From Trash

When I build buildings/terrain, I often like to take various pieces of garbage and see if I can build anything out of them. I have built quite a few things for other games, so this time I thought I would build something for 40K.

This time I took a dental floss container, a tv dinner box, a plastic Easter egg, a Powerade cap, a broken plastic fork, and some Tau bits and built a seeker missile battery for the Tau Empire. Here is the finished model:

Given the nature and concept of the project, that is awesome. Sort of like a terrain-MacGyver, although I suppose a lot of terrain would come from left over junk.

But regardless, it looks really good!

It's cool, but it looks more like an IG skystrike missile battery. Not very tau'ish with the boxy corners.

True it is not very "Tauish" with the boxy corners, but I play Tau, not IG. Maybe I can find some piece of trash that looks more like a Tau Weapon.

Crest has a dental floss called Glide, which I own that has rounded edges. It might better suit the tau look.

A very good idea, imagine how much stuff could be recycled if every gamer made their terrain like this.
