Almost done! Any suggestions before I declare it done? I have a few things in mind, but I wanted some ideas form LO too Also, I needed an excuse to get an action shot:

I also added mud to the outside gravel, especially at the door and the broken part, where there would be more "traffic".

It looks really good, but still somewhat unfinshed to me. I think it's the colour you've chose to use.
It looks very...brown? and the whole pice looks rather uniform. I really think it would look better if the walls of the building were drybrushed with a few layers of graduatly ligther grays.
To make it look muddy and worn you just give the lwest part of the walls a few brown washes and maybe some small printed posters, like in Ash's bunker.
Then go over the graveled parts again with a very thin (ie wash) dark brown/black to tie it all together a bit more.

But as far as the modelling part goes it looks fantastic.

My problem with it, (and the only problem I see)
Is I don't like the finished outside ground.

It blends into the building too much.
I much prefer:

over your finished pictures. See how the building can be distinguished from the ground in the pic I provided? Looking at your current pics...it all sort of...blends..

Just the only thing I can see..other than that...the natural light pic I readded shows the building in a better quality light.. so that may be the problem too.

I would have to agree with shonuff here, I also would trim off the corners where the card has bent around, just to keep it flat, sort of an OCD thing of mine, if the board doesnt sit flat on the table I throw it out after all that work!

The ground really needs another color on it, and I think the mud dragged this whole piece down for me sorry. But out of all the compeditors, you used the most household products and should win simply because of that.

Aware that I'm somewhat out of line, and that shonuff is the scenery mongrel from the seventh hell(in a good way), I have to completely disagree. The wonder of a ruined piece of architecture is how when it is destroyed, concrete, stone, and rubble are one and the same, almost completely blending.

This may just be my bias because of my fantasy scenery making (I did some ruins overgrown by earth and almost blended a while back, obviously man made, no dwarf ruins would crumble as such) but it seems that war would have the same effect on a concrete temple as nature has on a stone one.
