Okay. After a busy weekend, I finally have time to post my progress. First of all, I tiled the two broken pieces of floor and lined the with cereal box cardboard to keep the styrofoam from melting again. ![]() ![]() Next, I got my trusty flock (rocks picked up from the road and parking lots!) and added the final touches before painting. I also filled in the little cracks in the middle, around the eagle, so the whole floor is completely tiled. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is now ready for painting! |

Well I finally got to painting. So far, only the walls are painted. I started by painting it all black (using cheap acrylic paint, not expensive GW stuff, of course!). And it looked awful. Then, as I was despairing, I decided to drybrush it light brown. And it made a huge diference. I also painted the broken rebar boltgun metal and the eagle gold. So without further adue, Painting Part 1: ![]() ![]() |
