And I have been far to busy building the piece to find time to actually update this blog as I intended to
I hope to have it finished tonight, then I guess I'll have to make kind of a prequel using the pics I've actually taken.
I'm very grateful to the support I've been given by you guys though, wouldn't have come this far without it.
Pics of the finished piece will come later tonight.

Default The final pics

So, I guess a deadline is a deadline, and this one I actually made. Sure, I'm not all finished but I guess I'll never be, with anything. So, this is the end or rather my contribution to the IronChef III comp.
Oh, and I'll upload some more WIPs once I get more time. Any questions or such are mighty welcome, as always.
Oh, and the pics are crappy, I know...I could almost say it's one of my signums...

That's it for now folks. Once again, thanks to you who replied to this and to my GF who said things like "You do know what a deadline is, right?" She should have some cred for this being posted at all...

Exactly! Why carry a corpse when you can DRAG it! Excellent work this one. You say it's not finished, and how I know that feeling.. "needs just a little bit more 'something'" but you could do that forever.

I do like the chalk/kill marks in the top windows. Great sniper graffitti also the partially obscured game of hangman. Also the boarded up windows on the bottom lend to the air of defensibleness to it.

Yeah... of course I would be the last to see this thread...

Andu... what you have done again? Even for your loss, you're winning the admiration and applause!

You have done a very nice "failed" trench and the destroyed building is wicked!

One thing though... I wouldn't like to live with you and not having something to hang my clothes of...

Pretty deep stuff.

Great terrain piece, i particularly loved the signs (i'm a sucker for to-scale stuff like that) but at the same time i had to wonder if whoever was holding this building would put sand bags in the second story windows... i guess they would.

The tallies.... were the space marines keeping count of their kills??? This made me laugh out loud!

I think my only criticism would be that given the location of the crater, most of the rubble would have blown into the building, not outside of the building. Otherwise a very nice piece of work. The extra little touches here and there make it a piece that people will come back everytime and say, "hey, I just noticed that ..."
