I do want to paint but I think I like vehicles cos you can do one real good vehicle instead of tryin to do 10-20-30 really well painted infantry. And the tank is more eye catching anyway. I will be trying to squeeze as much painting and modeling in as I can the next few months thats for sure and modeling is also my favourite part. The painting is the hassle.

Safe guarding the mine entrance... but not by choice.

I just today got around to spraying the watering tower and I need to wait til payday (another week) to get hold of some cans to do the table itself but I'm hoping everyone's liking the look of the welcome sign.

Thanks guys! It all helps to hear nice things to push this thing finally out the way.

I will probably paint the killa kans a little bit more as I do feel they are a bit lacking still maybe some worn out colors of what they used to be and some more metal pieces left still and then some darker shades of rust and lastly a wash of black to seal in the flavor.

Here is what I've been up to:

I sprayed the whole table with some stuff from the local bunnings store... it took me frigging $60+ of spray cans to find one I actually liked the color of...

Slowly been painting up the small details on the table and putting a super fine black wash over it to give it some more depth.

No where near finished but this will be the space marines "last stand" in a way.

ouch $60 on spraypaint? Anyways I kind of agree with brunal about it being really red, but I think with a drybrush of a lighter reddish brown it would look nice. Also great work on the sign.
