Very slick. I can't wait to see your interpretation of the com-array dish or slab. Sure to be better than the oval disc they have on the epic forgeworld one. |

Now all that's missing is a sister of battle to be the voice on the com. *ding dong ding* "Flight 714 is ready to board at gate six. We are experiencing a slight delay due to tyranid infestation, thank you for your patience. . When boarding remember to Fire away from the fuel depot at all times, have a present flight."

Hey there, I've been watching with interest and think the tower looks great. I really liked the mounted weapons turret on the top, but was thinking that some underslung weapons, of the lascannon or heavy bolter varriety, hanging from below the control section would be pretty sick. Great job. Dave

Two good ideas! I need to a small mp3 playler with speakers for the voice message! I like the idea about the underslung weapons, if I have time I will do that! I sacrificed another Magnoman for a magnet for the antenna so now it wont get snapped off. Bugbait out. |

What happened to the week!?!?!?!?!? Well with the outside light fading fast this might be the last chance I get to take anything like a decent pic. There is so much more left to do on this, I thought that the paint had been stuffed a number of times, Codex Grey + drybrush Fortress Grey, + heavy drybrush Skull White, without the dirty wash it did not look very good at all, its not too bad ATM but needs some tidying up, no interior detailing done, I have some space hulk flooring that will be added, will do a control panel one day, want to add an exterior sign identifing the airfield, somethign like this LV-426 Sector 51 Comms 134.500 Didnt intend for the warning stripes to go right up, they only started around the first inch, I think extending to the top breaks up an otherwise uninteresting section. I have Aussiedave's idea stuck in my head, I want two twin linked assult cannons hanging underneath to act like a CIWS (Close In Weapon System) for a some anti missle defence or anti troop. Top fin antenna still needs more paint. ![]() Bugbait out |
