Default IC VI: Water Treatment Plant

I'm probably shooting myself in the foot by making my piece the max size. But, hey... lets go for broke!

I wanted to use some things I'd collected from work (respiratory equipment provider) to make a piece of scenery, and then the idea of using the TP Roll to cover up some of the parts and blend them in struck me.

The base shape was carved out of foam using my new hot wire cutter.

I'll be using a few CoD bits to tie the base in with the nebulizer case I'm going to use. Also, you've got to get into the pump hose somehow!

Here's where I'm using the TP roll.

This will be the water intake and pump, and the big plastic thing is the treatment tank. The pump is the guts of the nebulizer.

And this is what I've got so far.

Next up is getting all the pieces attatched and add some more detail to the large bare plastic parts. Then I'll prime all the plastic and get painting.

i think it looks good but it also looks kind of big. i built a tank repair shop that covers 18" x 28". it has never been used yet because of its size. you can how ever park 2 land raiders in it with room to spare. which that was my goal. so dude go for broke.

Interesting collection of bits, this should look really good once you add all of the small details.
Wondering what ideas you have for the big plastic bottle??

I hope you will allow troops to access the top of the main tank. Thats a nice handy platform.
