Now I suppose before I start I will say that this could be placed in the senery forum but I need specific SM stuff so here goes.

I'm making A kind of "Tank Hanger" thingy And I wanna make some doors but I don't know how big a Tank is, I play Tau so I can't model off them otherwise the doors would be huge for a Pred. So how Tall, Wide and Long (in inches plz) Is a Predator and a Land Raider??? Heres a quick example of what I'm looking for:

Mike's Made up Tank
5" Wide
10" Long
3" Tall

I that format I'll be able to use the info effectively.

Thats about right, i just sold my landraider, BAH! im a moron. its a little higher than 3 inches from memory, but the other dimensions are about right.

The basic Rhino hull is 2"H x 3"W x 5"L
Predator turret +1"H, barrel sticks out 1/2" in front, 1" on the sides (when pointed to the side)
Dozer blade +1"L
Whirlwind Turret +2"H
Razorback +1"H
Storm Bolter on turret adds +1/2" if mounted in the highest position

Land Raider 6"H x 5"W x 7"L (including sponsons)
Russ Hull 6"H (with commander out and hatch open, don't forget antenna) 5"W x 5"L Some Forgeworld cannon mods add more length

Hmmm... Why would you want the exact measurements? Couldn't you just build a big tank factory that fits everything? Oh well. Can't wait to see the finished result! PM me when you post pics, if you can, I might forget to check...

Well as far as fluff goes, I'm building the point at which the Tanks which were being stored underground exit unto the surface to board transports or what ever, its 10" X 10" A need the tank sizes to figure out how tall I need to make the doors. What do you think as far as defencive armament? TL HB Turret(s)?"

Also How Wide is a pred with Sponsons????

Leman Russ: 6" long, 4" wide, 3" tall

Land Raider: 7" long, 6"wide, 3" tall

These are the onlyvehicles i have.
Bear in mind both of these are with sponsons, also an extra inch around the edges of the door would not go amiss.
