Ok, give me a couple of days to dig around and I'll get back to you.

    Found Hinges

Found two types of hinges that might work.

The first is kind of expensive and difficult to install. It's called a Soss hinge:

You'll need to use a chisel and a drill to install.

The second one actually maybe a better design. It's a cylinder hinge and just requires a drill (14 mm) to install. Plus it's cheaper: $2.84

From what I found out it's best to have one of these every foot.

Hope that helps out. Sorry I couldn't find any $.99 invisible hinges.

Gorilla tape, a friend of mine said duct tape wont hold a candle compared to this stuff, we work construction and use various brands all the time for various projects, and this is the best we have found for strength yet.

On the second hinges. Would they leave space between the doors?

I've personally not used this type of hinge. My first reaction on looking at the hinge is that no it closes flush, so no gap. But I've been trying to get a hold of someone to tell me. Will post again when I find out.

Finally got a hold of someone. The hinges will leave very little to no gap when the board is folded out. Hope that helps!

Sorry, don't think so. Did a quick search on lowe's and home depot's website and there were no hits. My father uses the company that is linked above a lot. They have pretty quick shipping.

What type of hinges could you recommend from one of the afore mentioned outlets?

Romulus, sometimes the hinges can be ferreted away in some obscene part of the store. I know when i was working remodeling we shopped exclusively at lowes. When they didn't have something we could find easily we asked an associate. If they dont have it in stock they can usually order it relatively quickly.
