well there trapazoids they may not fit right, and you'd have to cut them very precise, it'd be trial and error the first few times until you got the measurements right, and you'd only get about 2-6 pieces per sprue because the useable size for something like a tank trap is at least 1" and it'd have to be made out of the straight part of the sprue, if you used one that branches off, it'd either offset the measurements or it'd just end up looking funny.

Hmmm very true...
How about hardware stores?
Maybe they have some useful stuff. They should have some long pieces of... heck what do you call it... edge or frame protection stuff you could use.

I know the stuff, the edging you use around the trim of your floors, can't think of the name either. The problem is they're too big, the smallest they come is 1/4", if they were 1/8" it'd work, you'd spend a lot of time cutting, and sanding. You could probably get aluminum siding, bend and cut it to size, it'd be easier just using shears instead of a jigsaw, or bandsaw, unless you have access to a woodshop.

I was hoping to hit home depot today to pick up some polystyrene, balsa wood, and a few other things, but my baby (my woman) has to go out, so I can't...

Hmmm have fun...
I got access to some scrap aluminum at work... and a lot of special equipment, so I could try bending some stuff to fit the pupose there.
As for me there isn't any building this weekend, got a tournement in Bergen, Norway this weekend... "The first winter war".
