I have been waiting for about 5 years for a plastic set for the sisters. I want to field 4x squads in rhino's at 1000 points but due to the figures being so much money I can't do that. It would cost me 405 dollars for 4 squads in rhino's with flamers and multimeltas. *Cry* I have wanted them forever!

Works out roughly £272 in the UK, which is $434 in the google converter. Expensive everywhere.

What I never understoof was why they never released any in plastic. Whereas it's not the most dynamic pose, there is a plastic sister riding the turret of the immolator. WOuldn't take much to work with that and expand it a bit.

    Sob

i just traded a handful of sisters with a friend and he gave me 1 trygon, 20 genestealers, 6 raveners, venomthrope and 16 hormagaunts. i couldnt believe how far just 26 metal figures and a penitent engine could go. i am a bit sad though cos i was really fond of those models

I think TPTB at GW are intimidated by strong women and can't wrap their heads around the concept of guys actually wanting to play SoB.

I've gotten most of my sisters on ebay. Much cheaper if you are patient.

That is something interesting about GW. Most games that are targeting a predominately male audience are throwing a busty scantily clad women at you in some way (the video game industry is an obvious example as are some of GWs competitors), yet GW have never relied on that sex exploit to sell their product. Surprising really.

Have you see dark Elves/Eldar? They have a whole sect of women who don't wear anything. Hell, Dark Elves have a few bare breasts =P

Sisters of Battle are different in this sense because they wear armor and thankfully GW understand that armor is there to protect you, not show off your legs (exposing a major artery) and chest (Heart). =P

    >Spess Elves/DE

    I was waiting for that.
Dark Elves/Eldar aren't their main seller, nor do they put nearly as much effort into advertizing them. DE only recently got an update (which took how long? 10 years?) and the Eldar are long overdo, and other armies (that don't have women) are the main focus. I'm not saying they *never* use sex to sell their product, but they clearly don't rely on it.

Sisters might even sell better if they showed a little skin, but then GW would have to sell what little of their collective soul is left to defile my pure sisters... like they already did by letting matt ward put his hands on them...

However if new models are released that show off the sisters... features... even in armor... people (men mostly) would probably show more interest. At this point however, as is obvious to any of us sister fans, any new models would be amazing.

12 years for Dark Eldar.... 12 LONG, CRIPPLING YEARS... But I got new ones. I havent actually played sisters for a while, but i remember when you had to get their rules from the rulebook (I'm only 22 GAH, I can't be old yet)

I would say its due to new models being released, only question is When?

Well they do have the Sisters Repentia to appease you in the meantime.
