New layout and stats

I am getting neurotic tendencies with the new meter! I feel dirty and unforfilled untill i reach my 5 posts a day...:cry:

No, seriously now:
The meters urges me to post more often, which is good in my case. I read most of the threads started while I am awake, but seldom post (0.5 a day). With the new meter I am more likely to post a helpful message to an armylist instead of shaking my head and browse on... This leads to more activity for me, which is nice as I accually have something to say. I don't know how long this will accually help, but I suspect that it will only do so for a limited time.
On the other hand I am not to fond of the idea with the wrong state of mind. I fear that some people will feel stressed out and will reduce the quality of there post to have time for more, or simply respond to threads where they can't contribute in any way. The worst part is that maybe they do it in good will, or isn't aware of them accually doing it... Maybe I am doing it!

PS: Damnation! I got my account reset some years ago... I could have had a longer bar...

Seems Ok at the moment, however I have had a lag this morning when posting replies,the loading progress bar sticks half way, however if I open up a second window and go to the Tau forum the new post is shown updated, obviously the forum is updating the thread but it is not showing the updated thread, it is just sticking on the post thread screen (It is sticking at the halfway loaded point) hope that makes sense.

This posting lag has happened a lot to me over the last few weeks and ovbviously this can lead to double posts etc.

I have also noted that the lag problem tends to happen later in the evening (UK time) around about 1pm to 4AM, last night I could not get any thread to open on the Tau forum page (though I got onto the main forum page OK)

Edit: BH my good man, what are the 'possible points earned today' reffering to, is this something to do with REP points etc, we need to know?:yes:

Lagging seems to have got better over the course of the morning

As for the new bars, it doesn't really matter to me. We should be thankful for all the good things LO has to offer rather than complaining that our profiles are a little more cramped than they once were^_^

oh my god. I am sorry if this comes off as a rant. This topic was just meant to be educational and then maybe exploring how this could effect myself or others... It was in no way meant as a rant or negative.

When I get back from work the coming weekend I have to update the forum to the latest edition, then revert some templates, then re-do the changes. I also reverted the postbit templates yesterday before installing the "activity bars". Thats why you no longer see the blog link etc.

Next weekend I will do an overhaul of the board
