When LO is down

As we all know it happends every now and then that our most beloved Forum goes from Librarium Online to Librarium Offline. My question is not why (ok, it's why too...Why??!!??) but what do you do when LO is down?
When I came back today after the latest shutdown we were only five members on the board. Five. Then I checked my CP and read a post, checked again how many and we were some ninety people. It took maybe one or two minutes.

I know, I feel a bit stupid sometimes checking whether it's been fixed or not with quite high frequency, but it struck me I'm not alone.

So, where do you go (other forums, MSN, forgeworld..what?) and how often do you check if LO is alive?

I, ashamed, go and do some reading on Warseer, and work on my models of *shudder* actual work. I check probably every 2-3 hours.

At first when I see Librarium Online Down i'm a little angry, then I get steadily sadder. And eventually I stop trying to get on for longer periods.

As tekore said I could go to warseer, but don't have an account there. Sometimes I'll call someone, do some work, or eat in front of the TV. Tis all well;Y

But if I can remember too I might read some 40k fluff/sleep, to give my sore and burning eyes a well deserved, and overdue, rest.;?

I sit and chat in #warhammerfun, waiting for someone else to tell me that LO's back up.

EDIT: Generally there's also a fair bit of ridicule about Librarium Offline's uptime involved aswell from some of our chatters. All in good fun. :>

I actually go into hibernation and am alerted by a psionic pulse that signals LO is back online.

One weekdays I check once in the morning, normally not posting. Once in the afternoon, again, don't post much, and then later at night when I've finished all the stuff on my to do list. The later is when I normally post.

One weekends, I'm checkng up on it like every 5 minutes if I'm at my house.:rofl

Mostly I do housework, hang out in LO chat, talk to my friends or wife, occassionally go jogging... Lots of things.

I find that it usually happens when I should be sleeping anyway, so all it does is reinforce the suggestion of sleep

I useually check out Forge World, then Facebook, then GW's homepage (looking for Apocalypse Datasheets) and finaly move onto schoolwork. Failing schoolwork, I've picked up painting my Guard, I finished 3 today while LO was down.

Usually when I find LO is down I go in to denial- I refuse to believe it's true.
After that I get a bit angry- how could it do this TO ME!!!
After that I try and reason... it can't be down for long, I can check again later, mayeb if I do some study God will reward me and bring LO back?
This usually doesn't work and I plunge into depression. It's not pretty.
I come out of this after a while and accept the fact that LO doesn't love me any more.


Then I click refresh and it all happens again.




Actually, usually I go back to the study I should have been doing anyway.

I cry. For eons and eons and eons. I cry so much my body gets dehydrated and I need to be taken to the hospital for emergency rehydration. Eventually they just hooked me up to an IV and it just keeps going.

Or I go to Warseer and vent my angst on the foolish members there, as there it seems to be allowed and promoted to flame other members. ;? Haha, just kidding. I never flame. But I do vent. And smoke from the ears.
