Recently a few threads have been locked around here when people tried to miserably advertise their sites. I know they did it quite miserably, and probably got what they deserve (Balder is curently still the only member of his own forum the size of LO :lol , but what if one just wanted to introduce his own little site to the folk around here?Advertisements section of the board we are told to use is designed with buying and selling stuff, and nor does it have any place to post about ones website nor is it even part of the forum right now. I'm not really desperate for visitors, but still this question keeps bugging me... So? |

All site adverts go in the adverts section. It's that simple. If there are any sites we dont like, we delete the thread if its a link to, say, TheWarp or Eldar Online...

Adverts have no space for sites. Maybe a forum section focused on discussing each other's websites would solve this...

No, see, it really IS that simple. You click "New Topic" The only purpose for said topic is to display a link to your website. Linking to a website is classed as an advertisement, when the sole purpose of a new topic is linking to a website. Advertisements, such as this, go to the Advertisements Forum. It really IS that Simple.

The closest thing is "Librarium Market", which is strictly for commercial purposes.
