Im not sure if this has been posted before, i really dont care because i dont tolerate freakin viruses. MasterBelial said there was a virus warning targeting warhammer 40k site-goers.Well i keep clearing out my temp. internet file, cookies, etc. and everytime i come here, norton pops up saying its found a virus on my computer. And it happens after the exitpilot.com pop-up comes up. EVERY TIME. ive tried to locate the file on my comp, but i cant access it. does anyone here have the same problem? the technical name for the virus is Bloodhound.Exploit.6 , i've checked it and it is a trojan horse virus like belial said, and i have protection from it from symantec but it doesnt seem to help. If anyone could help i'd appreciate it.

I have had the Bloodhound.Exploit.6 too, it doesn't do anything though...I hope. It came about 3 days ago and my PC is still OK, so hopefully it should be alright.

Yeah, after you came on chat and mentioned it, I ran a free online check:

Free Online Virus check - Symantec

and found some cached webpages in my Downloaded Internet Files folder with
  • Bloodhound.Exploit.6
  • Downloader.Trojan
and killed them by flushing the folder starting from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer:

Tools>Internet Options>General>Temporary Internet Files>Delete Files

I will now run Popupstopper (free at www.Panicware.com) constantly while in LO
and Spybot (free at www.safer-networking.org) occasionally too, as well as using its malware innoculation utilities.

Thanks for the headsup!

I say use another browser, I prefer opera.
Also running a software firewall blocks if they try to connect to any trojans.
If you can't delte the files it probably have a process running. You can check this by clicking ctrl+shift+esc in win 2000/xp or ctrl+alt+del in 95/98. Just close the ones that look suspious and try to del the files.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this up!!!!! I've currently just discovered it on my pc, it appears that my pc tends to pick up everything no matter my firewall and so forth.

But does anyone have any info on the symantec email proxy thing?

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
My Mac is above these petty... "virii"...
Yeah, I guess it would kinda suck to get a virus embedded on LO. I though Blackie's subscription was ultra-super-immune-platinum. Oops.
