just a notice for everyone on the new chat, we've shut it down for a wee while to see if we can improve on the lag members have been experiancing and also fix connection issues members have had. it should be back up and running by late tonight or early tommorow morning. sorry for the inconvieniance folks.

right, we've stuck the chat back up here for the moment. sadly the lag people are experiancing seems to be a hardware issue. in our defence (me and my good father) are running this from a home server (its a stopgap measure after all) so until we can get into the nitty gritty of things (which we don't have enough time for today) we are going to have to put up with any lag problems.

as for people having trouble connect? we're clueless. might i recommend trying other web browers or trying another PC/laptop if you have acess to one. libraries or your local uni/collage are ideal for this. if you are able to get on through this means please contact me with any information on your PC and your connection and we'll see how to work this out.
